Catalogue Entry

Pendant shaped like the head of a bearded man. The body of turquoise colored glass has a yellow face attached. The beard, eyebrows, eyelashes, and pupils are all in black glass, while the nose and ears are yellow, and the earrings are white glass. The sides of the head have layered traces of black and white glass, were these possibly to express a hairstyle? A turquoise glass support ring is attached to the top of the head.
