　灰青色の地に、黄色の顔をもつ男性のマスクが表現された方形飾板。半分の顔2枚を合わせたもの。禿頭で、こめかみから顎にかけて白色の鬚で覆われる。頭には緑色の木蔦の冠をかぶっている。細部は、黒色、黄色、白色、赤色、紫色、灰青色で表される。ディオニュソスの師である山野の精シレノスを表したものか、あるいはニューコメディの登場人物とも考えられる。

This rectangular decorative plaque shows a male mask with a yellow face set against a grayish blue ground. Made from the alignment of two half faces. The bald headed face has a white beard which extends from his sideburns down. The head is topped by a green ivy crown. The details are depicted in black, yellow, white, red, purple and grayish blue. This face is thought to represent either Dionysos's teacher the spirit of the mountain fields Silenos or a figure from the New Comedy theatre.
