Catalogue Entry

Bottle blown from translucent glass with a mold. A glass thread is wrapped around the outside of the mouth rim for decoration. A section of the neck is twisted and constricted inward, and the small opening formed by this constriction prevented the contents of the bottle, such as cosmetics, from flowing out of the jar in a rush. The base has traces of a pontil mark.
