Catalogue Entry

Flask blown from greenish translucent glass that was then formed in a two-part mold, including the base. The face is topped by a vertical rise of free-blown neck which has one constricted area part way up which leaves only a 5mm wide hole in the neck at that point. This may have been a way of making the cosmetics in the bottle come out slowly. The eyes and nose are large in scale. This was probably used for perfumed oils.
