This pitcher was free-blown and formed from blue semi-translucent glass and then its mouth was cut off horizontally. The same blue glass was then wrapped around four times in place of a foot, a stretched handle made from probably the same glass was attached, and finally a wave pattern was attached to the body of the pitcher. This pitcher has yellow ochre-colored iridescence on its beautiful blue body, and it would have been used for either wine or water.
