Figurine of a Horseman

A figure on horseback is shown with his horse on a small dais in this silver figure. The rider has a round face and wears a knee-length tunic and a short shoulder cape. The incised lines on the head indicate that probably the figure was originally fitted with some sort of headgear. His legs have been shaved to show tight-fitting pants and he wears short boots. The horse has an Arabian horse form, as its rider holds the reins in tight and short, as if he has just stopped at a signal from his leader. After the horse and rider were cast as one element, the figure was attached to its dais.
