These two recumbent tigers are shown in mirror position. The bodies and faces have been chiseled with simple facial features, musculature, and hair depiction. The bodies are marked with vertical stripes and slightly malformed pear-shaped musculature. A large number of tigers lived in Bactria, and a tiger appeared at the archaeologists camp at Takht-I Sangin in 1937. All tigers had disappeared from the area by 1954.
